INDIA IN THE BIBLE

Esther 1v 1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)

Esther 8 v 9 Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.

Acts 17 v 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us

Matthew 24 v 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

India occurs only in Esther 1:1 and 8:9, where the extent of the  dominion of the Persian king is described.

Amriks Testimony From childhood I followed the Sikh traditions of my family, which I was expected to pass on to my children.
