Cult Definition: A group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or as imposing excessive control over members. Concerns: Primarily the loss of salvation. The concern of the use of deceptive and manipulative methods by cults to recruit and indoctrinate unsuspecting members of      society. The cult methods that present a threat to individual and their family. Cult methods including mind control: Love bombing - Creating a sense of family and belonging through hugging, kissing, and flattery. Elitism - Claiming to have superior moral behaviour and understanding of the truth.  Isolation - Inducing loss of reality by physical separation from family, friends, society. Approval love - Commending people ( especially those in their inner circle) before others for good works, keeping them dependant on works for special praise and attention. Character assassination - Anyone exercising free will to leave is belittled
