JOHN 7 V 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1 CORINTHIANS 2 V 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

HEBREWS 5 V 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

PHILIPPIANS 1 V 1 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

1 JOHN 4 V 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

If we don't try and judge things by the word of God; we will be vulnerable to false teaching, hindering our spiritual growth.
Apostle Paul told Timothy ( read 1 Timothy 4 v 13 ) to give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. These things
will benefit not only us, but those around us.

Amriks Testimony From childhood I followed the Sikh traditions of my family, which I was expected to pass on to my children. I had no joy and found no comfort in this religion, and yet I had nothing else as I wandered desperately through life wondering what was the point of it all?
