"SALVATION DOES NOT REQUIRE RELIGION" by AMRIK
Judges 17 v 6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim
to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
This Micah is not to be confused with the Prophet Micah. Earlier on in Judges 17 V 4 his mother had a graven and molten image
commissioned. This clearly violated Gods commandment given in Exodus 20 v 3.This family had a zeal for God but not according
to knowledge.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
How many generations are lost because of lack of knowledge. When people lack knowledge, what can they do, or what do they do?
In Judges 17 v 6 every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
Proverbs 14 v 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
We now have the whole counsel of God in the Authorised King James bible and need not be ignorant of salvation and Gods
eternal plan, No amounts of shekels (money), Apparel (clothing), victuals (food offerings) can save us or bring us nearer to God.
Let us hear the words of Apostle Paul below.
Acts 20 v 33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
Ephesians 2 v 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Romans 10 v 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Apostle Paul tell us God does not dwell in temples.
Acts 17 v 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Jesus Christ tells us about a coming dispensation of grace.
John 4 v 21 Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
Ephesians 2 v 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Our sins kept us distant from God but now the atoning blood of the Lord Jesus is able redeem all those that believe.
