" A VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS" and also "GREETINGS FOR THE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY FOR WE HAVE A BLESSED HOPE IN JESUS, AND MAY HIS GRACE BE WITH YOUR SPIRIT" from AMRIK

Greetings for the new year everybody. We have a blessed hope, I feel a stranger here but must occupy till he comes. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amrik.

Isaiah 40 v 3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Matthew 3 v 1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

We have here two prophets, hundreds of years apart proclaiming the coming Messiah and King of Israel. Also we have the following
prophecies of his birth:

Isaiah 7 v 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

 Micah 5 v 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have beenfrom of old, from everlasting.

 Scripture reveals that Jesus is the Lord and from everlasting.


Matthew 1 v 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Dear reader, if you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, why not prepare your heart to receive him by faith.


1 CORINTHIANS 15 v 1  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    BIBLICAL REPENTANCE AND SALVATION.

    John 16 v 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. The Comforter also referred to as the Spirit of truth in John 16 v 13 is quite clearly the Holy Spirit. To reject Jesus and his atonement for salvation is a sin that cannot be forgiven.
